Q7. The difference between 2 numbers is 110. The greater number is 5 more than 8 times the smaller number. Let the smaller number be n .
a) Express the greater number in terms of n .
b) Form an equation in terms of n and solve it.
c) Hence , find the
              i) Greater number.
              ii) sum of the 2 numbers.

Q18) Elaine paid $10 for 6 pens and 8 erasers and was given $3.60 as change. Given that 2 pens costs $1 more than 3 erasers and each eraser costs $x ,
