have you ever been

trapped by your fears
it tears the strong walls you built

called 'confidence'

suffocated by your insecurities
because your best was never enough

but wait
since when was it sufficient

lost in your own world
no, not lost
too reliant on it perhaps

indignant at what life threw to you

because it's not fair

it never was.
